The prizewinners are the flagship wines Mas La Plana and Grans Muralles and the Priorat wines Perpetual and Salmos.
Mas La Plana 2010, Grans Muralles 2010, Salmos 2011 and Perpetual 2011 received gold medals at the international competition Mundus Vini 2014 where they competed alongside 4500 wines from around the world. The judges awarded a total of 128 gold medals to Spanish wines, including the four received by the Bodegas Torres wines with a Penedès, Conca de Barberà or Priorat appellation of origin. Spain ranked third among the countries with the most medals, right after France and Germany.
The wine competition Mundus Vini held in the German city of Neustadt since 2001 is the most important contest in Germany and considered an international point of reference. The event, organized by the publisher Meininger Verlag, strives to promote and increase the visibility of quality wines from around the world.
